Marcopolo Paradiso G7 1800 DD

This Marcopolo Paradiso G7 1800 DD bus is really a quality mod, truly. It has high quality, shadows, nice sounds, the glass effect is pretty stunning. It also contains couples of HDR skins, tuning parts and animation. There is even a trailer of Fast and Furious on the screen in the cabin lol.

You can find it in every Scania dealer!

  1. Cannot Recommend.
Would like to start off by saying I run a low end PC, so this wont affect everyone, however I run most of the JazzyCat mods, the Scania T, Kenworth’s T 800 and Long, Mercedes 1519, Freightliner Argosy, JetBus 2 etc and they run very well, the textures all look great, brilliant reflections, good frame rate and this G7 1800 is the worst mod I’ve ran that is compatible with these mods, whether this is poor optimisation I’m not sure.

The Skins are awful and are low resolution, without a standard paint option this means you have to run the bus in a Spanish/Brazilian skin that looks bad in low def. Whilst there is the option of having 2 co drivers I cannot recommend this as the textures make them literally scary humanoid blobs that look like they’ve just left the burns unit at hospital. Whilst the windows look great in the customisation menu they don’t appear the same whilst driving. A weird thing this mod did was alter the AI traffics headlights drawing in thick light circles around every vehicles headlight, completely breaking immersion. The interior driving position seems cheap and lacking somehow, with the copied Scania steering wheel. Whilst there is a very gimmicky TV screen inside this does not make up for the downfalls of this Asset. There are a few points of customisation that don’t change the look in any way and as such are barely worth mentioning, I’m fairly sure that all of the Engine, tyres and rims are from existing mods. This mod did however add some yellow tinted lights.

The saving grace of this mod is that it handles very nicely and instinctively and is huge. I can’t recommend this to Low-end PC users however, it is compatible with the mods listed above, in 1.19, is a massive bus and has some quirky gimmicks that are sure to entertain younger truckers.

  2. Stefan said it. I had fun with it, yet It would not go past a toll booth. Once I rolled into the icon, it would not let me go through. Plus I have had the same issues with the light circles. I can’t stand them. >_<
